Hi, I’m Franchesca. I’m introverted by nature and wonderstruck that you’re here. The internet is such a noisy place so by spending any of your precious time here I must say thank you. It is an honor.
I have a passion for grieving mamas. It is the story God has written for me, certainly not one I would have ever volunteered for. The strangest and most exhausting emotion of grief inspired me to pursue certification as a Grief Recovery Specialist to help those struggling after loss. In 2012 I founded Still Standing Magazine, and have decided to take a step back and become a contributor. I created online workshops for intentional grief work through art therapy, journaling, community, and self-care for bereaved mothers.
On a personal note, I have 3 babies, one in Heaven as you probably imagined, and two earth babies who bless my world more than I can put into words. I am married to the most wonderful man and best friend anyone could ask for. I am working on going back to school to study Occupational Therapy and currently in training to become a yoga instructor. On a personal note, I love to visit new places, am wild at heart — I love adventure, good books, meeting people from all over the place, Texas born and raised. Home is my favorite place in the world, and I think it is an art to make your dwelling place a home.
This blog is a sprinkling of all things that have caught my attention since finding my path after loss – healing, art, holistic living, essential oils, fitness and real, authentic faith.
With buckets of love and grace,
